Reimagining the Way We Learn, Together
At Connect the Dots Learning Academy, we support students of all abilities, families, and educators through personalized tutoring, homeschool support, academic coaching, and professional development. Our work is rooted in creative and research-based instruction, the Science of Reading, culturally responsive teaching, and strong family partnerships.

We create safe, relationship-centered learning spaces where students feel empowered to make mistakes, tackle challenges, and believe in themselves. Families are welcomed into a non-judgmental environment where they gain the tools and confidence to begin and/or enrich learning at home. Educators walk away with practical strategies, renewed encouragement, and a trusted teammate who understands their journey.

Our mission is to make education feel personal, purposeful, and possible—for every learner, every family, and every classroom.

Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Anita Anthony-Stoutt — Learning Strategist, Educator, and Vision-Builder

My journey into education didn’t begin in a classroom—it began with a shift in purpose. I originally studied computer engineering, but something never quite clicked. It wasn’t until I started volunteering in my mother’s classroom that I realized where I truly belonged: in spaces where I could nurture, teach, and uplift others.
Encouraged by my mom—who saw a natural teacher in me—I changed direction, completed my degree in education, and stepped into what I now know was my calling all along.

After years in the classroom and working closely with families and fellow educators, I founded Connect the Dots Learning Academy as a space where joy meets intention, and learning meets transformation. Whether I’m designing a personalized learning plan, mentoring a homeschooling parent, or transforming a child’s corner into a literacy-rich oasis, I lead with empathy, creativity, and purpose.

My teaching philosophy centers on holistic education—nurturing the whole child academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. By integrating mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and creativity into academic instruction, I aim to provide a well-rounded foundation for lifelong success.

My mission is simple: help students, families, and educators reimagine how they experience education—and empower them to do it with joy, clarity, and confidence.

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
